Nina Lind Ranneberg, associate professor in business studies at the Department of Economics. Nina has a PhD in psychology and since her postdoc in business studies she works on studying farmers’ decision-making in relation to animal health. She often uses psychological theories in her research. Nina is primarily interested in questions connected to the relationship between humans and animals in food production and how they may affect one another.

In addition to being the coordinator of the Mistra Food Futures Academy, Nina leads a research project on changing the behaviour of farmers to detect early signs of illness among their animals.

Moa focuses on sustainable food and energy production, operating at the intersection of agriculture and forestry. She aims to address the challenge of efficient land distribution: how to balance the simultaneous needs for bioenergy, carbon sequestration, and food production within the land system.

Nora’s PhD project focuses on environmental impacts of the production of proteins and fats and alternatives to resource-intensive animal-based foods for more sustainability in the Swedish food system.

Rezanual’s research focuses on identifying the next generation of sustainability and resilience indicators, along with understanding interrelations and actors’ preferences for these indicators, to better monitor and guide the performance of the Swedish food system.
