Let us discuss the new CAP and the transformation of the Swedish food system

A Mistra Food Futures’ webbinar 27th of May 2021

The reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, CAP, will influence the direction of the European agriculture and food sector until 2027. Finalisation of CAP’s coming programme period is in the making at EU and at national level. It is therefore time to highlight and discuss the possible effects of CAP for the Swedish agricultural and food sector and the transformation of the Swedish food system.

In this Mistra Food Futures webbinar, PhD Guy Pe’er at German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research and PhD Mark Brady at AgriFood Economics Centre, SLU engaged in these questions as well as reflected on the direction of Swedish policy makers and authorities.

The seminar was moderated by Elin Röös, researcher in sustainable food production at SLU.
